About the Founder
Dr. Jalil A. Johnson founded Elevare and its consultant network in 2025, with a vision to “help as many people as possible”. This ambitious vision includes people served, employees, and the leaders who lead healthcare organizations. He is a senior healthcare executive, board advisor, and national thought leader with over two decades of experience transforming systems through clinical integration, leadership innovation, and public sector partnership. He holds a Ph.D. in Cultural Influences on Health Disparities, adult health NP with several clinical sub-specialties, and an MBA in Healthcare Administration, bringing a rare blend of academic insight and operational execution. His work is grounded in a lifelong commitment to health equity, access, innovation, and taking care of people—principles that define Elevare’s DNA. Dr. Johnson is also the author of the award-winning book "The Nation of Nurses."
